By BMW «525» And «528» an F&S type MF 240K Sph clutch was installed with a 240 PSD driven disc, the characteristics of which are identical to the MF 240 K clutch, except for the dimensions of the clutch release bearing, which are the same as the clutch release bearing type MF215 K.
The tightening torques of the main threaded connections are the same as on cars of the 1980 model year, with the exception of the master cylinder bolt, which is tightened with a torque of 1.2-1.4 kgf·m.
