1. Wash, preserve and additionally process the engine, engine compartment, underbody, axles and units in accordance with the factory instructions. Wash the car outside and clean the interior, then treat the paint and chrome coating. Clean the rubber seals of the hood and doors, sprinkle them with talc or lubricate with glycerin oil.
2. Change the engine oil and oil filter when the engine is warmed up to operating temperature. As an additional anti-corrosion protection of the engine, an anti-corrosion agent can be added to the fuel according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Check the level and concentration of the coolant and top up if necessary.
4. Check the electrolyte level in the batteries, top up with distilled water if necessary.
5. Drain fluid from reservoirs and windshield washer lines.
6. Fill the fuel tank completely to avoid condensation.
7. Increase tire pressure to 4 bar.
Just before. put the car in the parking lot, dry the hand and foot parking brakes in order to avoid corrosion of the brake discs and drums.
Park the car in a dry and well-ventilated area, turn on the reverse (on automatic transmission - position P), if necessary, place chocks under the wheels, do not apply the parking brake!
Dismantle the batteries, recharge and store them in a cool and frost-free room. Charge the batteries no later than three months, otherwise they will fail!
The air conditioner should be switched on for a short time at least once a month (especially during the cold season), otherwise there is a risk that the compressor shaft sealant will dry out and coolant may leak out.
In this case, the engine should be warmed up to operating temperature (the temperature gauge should be approximately in the middle between the two colored fields) in order to avoid internal corrosion. On vehicles without air conditioning, the engine must not be started during parking.
When starting the engine in an enclosed area, make sure there is adequate ventilation so that noxious exhaust gases are inhaled.
If the car is deregistered at the same time, do not miss the re-registration period, otherwise it will become invalid "Operating Permit".
Abroad, observe the relevant administrative regulations!
