Please follow the instructions below to ensure that your vehicle lasts as long as possible and is as economical as possible.
Engine and main gear of the rear axle
Up to 1000 km run.
Drive at variable speed and variable speed, without exceeding 140 km/h.
Fundamentally avoid maximum fuel delivery ("full throttle"), as well as prohibitive pressing on the accelerator pedal - the so-called. provisions "Kick-Down"!
Starting from 100 km of run, you can gradually increase the speed and speed.
If during the operation of the vehicle one of these units is replaced by a new one, then the break-in instructions must also be observed in this case.
Tires
During the break-in, the grip of new tires with the road is not yet optimal, which is determined by the technology of their manufacture. Therefore, during the first 300 km, a moderate driving style is recommended.
Brake system
In order to achieve a uniform and optimal coefficient of friction during the first 500 km, you should brake mainly in the middle deceleration range. With new brake linings, repeated sudden braking, especially at high speeds, or prolonged loads, for example, when driving over passes, should be avoided.
Brake linings and discs are only optimally run in after 500 km and under the specified break-in conditions.
The parking brake is a separate brake drum system independent of the foot brake and must also be run in.
If the braking efficiency is noticeably reduced, then the driver can carry out the running-in. If the road, weather and traffic conditions permit, apply the parking brake lever lightly at a speed of approx. 40 km/h until resistance is noticeable. After that, tighten the lever more (move one sector tooth up) and in this position move approx. 400 m. Then fully release the lever again.
