Withdrawal
1. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and place it securely on axle stands. Drain the differential fluid (see chapter Car maintenance).
2. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the gear flange (see Section Removal and installation of cardan shaft). Hang the end of the driveshaft on a piece of wire so as not to damage the center bearing.
3. Unbolt the inner ends of the drive shafts from the differential flanges (see Section Removal and installation of power shafts). Hang the drive shafts on pieces of wire so as not to damage the CV joints.
4. Disconnect the wires from the speedometer sensor, give two sensor mounting bolts (one of them is indicated by an arrow) and remove the sensor.
5. Support the differential with a trolley jack.
6. Give two back fixing bolts (indicated by arrows) at the top of the carrier rear axle (left side shown)
7. Give a forward fixing bolt of differential (indicated by an arrow).
8. Lower the differential and remove it from under the vehicle.
Installation
1. Place the differential housing in place on its supports and install the bolts (do not tighten them until they are all planted), then tighten the fasteners securely.
2. Perform the rest of the installation procedure in the reverse order of removal.
