Only with proper operation during the break-in period, brake pads and discs acquire a high-quality working surface.
The parking brake system is separate from the service brake system and has independent brake pads and drums that must also be run in.
Practical Tips
Do not warm up the engine at idle, immediately start driving at medium speed. Only at very low temperatures, leave the vehicle stationary at high speed for 30 seconds to ensure reliable engine lubrication. Do not allow a cold engine to run at high speeds, this will significantly reduce its service life.
When the engine is under load, such as when accelerating and driving uphill, if possible, keep the engine speed above 1500 rpm (especially when going up).
Attention: Do not keep your foot constantly on the brake pedal. Slight but constant pressure on the pedal may not be noticeable while driving, but it leads to overheating and wear of the brake pads, so that the brake system may fail as a result.
Advice. After driving at low speed for a long time (in the city, in the column, etc.) it is recommended to drive several kilometers while maintaining engine speeds above 3000 rpm. In this case, the combustion chambers are cleaned of carbon deposits.
Attention: When driving on roads covered with water or wet mud, slow down as a water wedge may form between the tire and the road surface. This condition, known as hydroplaning, can result in partial or complete loss of contact with the road surface, loss of vehicle control and braking ability.
The trunk lid must be closed while driving so that exhaust gases do not enter the passenger compartment.
