Examination
Mark the position of the wheels in relation to the hubs with paint. This will allow the balanced wheel to return to its original position. When loosening the wheel bolts, the vehicle must be on its wheels. Raise the car and remove the wheels.
Attention: The thickness of the brake disc must be welded in the thinnest places -arrows-.
Measure the brake disc thickness. Workshops use a special caliper or micrometer for this, since a shoulder forms on the brake disc during operation. The thickness of the brake disc can also be measured with a conventional caliper, but then a rigid gasket must be placed on each side of the disc (for example, one or two coins in denominations of 1 ruble). In order to obtain the thickness of the brake disc, the thickness of the pads must be subtracted from the measured size.
Attention: Measure around the perimeter at several points on the brake disc.
Brake disc dimensions see here.
If the wear limit is reached, lure the brake discs.
If the brake discs have been turned to the minimum thickness, the brake pad set can be reinstalled.
If there are large cracks or grooves, replace the brake disc with a new one.
Screw on the wheels. Do not grease wheel bolts. Attach the wheels so that the ones applied before removing the uterus coincide. Lower vehicle, tighten wheel bolts crosswise to 100 Nm.
