2. Remove the steering knuckle guard and the front ABS wheel sensor (see chapter Brake system).
3. Loosen the nut and press out the tie rod using puller No.31 1 190.
There should be no traces of grease on the seat cones when installed; use a new self-locking nut.
4. Remove the suspension wishbone (see section Removal and installation the left or right wishbone), its stretching (see section Removal and installation of control arm stretchers and stretcher hinges) and steering knuckle.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. After finishing the work, check and adjust the front wheel alignment angles.
