Installation or replacement of rubber-metal hinges of stretch marks of the right and left suspension arms should be carried out simultaneously.
1. Remove the engine crankcase protection.
2. Remove an extension of the suspension arm.
When installing, install the washer (1), use new self-locking nuts.
3. Loosen the nut and press out the ball joint using puller no. 31 2 240.
When installed on the landing cones, there should be no traces of grease; use new self-locking nuts.
4. The rubber-metal hinge is removed and pressed in using a press and mandrel No. 31 2 261/263.
When installed on a hinge and in the brace hole, there should be no traces of grease.
5. The mark on the hinge must be aligned with the mark on the brace. When pressing in, the mandrel must be in contact with the outer bushing of the hinge - the maximum allowable out-of-flatness is ± 3°.
6. Make sure that the protrusion (A) was 12.5±0.2mm.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
