Adjusting the selector lever (BMW 7 Series E38)

Below is a description for AT A5S 310Z/440Z/560Z.


1. Set the selector lever to position "P".

2. On models before 08.1995 issue. install tool No.24 5 240 on the control unit balancer and loosen the nut (2).

3. On models since 08.1995., holding the clamp (1), loosen the nut (2).

4. On all models, move the control unit balancer (3) forward (position "P"). Press the rod (4) in the direction of the arrow and release it again. Tighten the nut (2).
