Replacing the left or right tie rod end
Note: If the threaded connection between the tie rod and the end has been loosened, the wheel alignment must be checked and adjusted after installation.
1. Remove the front wheel.
Attention:
- It is prohibited to disconnect the steering rod end from the steering support by knocking it out.
- Check that the fixture fits correctly onto the steel bushing of the swivel support. If the steel bushing moves, replace the pivot bearing.
- The rubber boot of the tie rod end must not be damaged.
- The stainless steel ring should remain on the journal. You can't take it off.

2. Loosen the nut, holding it from turning by the internal Torx if necessary.
3. Using puller 321300, disconnect the tie rod end from the steering column.
Note:
- The location where the tie rod end attaches to the steering column must be free of dirt and grease.
- Replace the self-locking nut.
Tightening torque: 80 Nm.

4. Determine the size (A).
Note: This will make it easier to adjust the axle.
5. Loosen the clamping nut.
6. Unscrew the steering rod end.
Note: While doing this, hold the steering rod from turning with a wrench.
Note: When installing, please check the cover and replace it if necessary.
7. Put on the clamping ring (1).
8. Screw the end of the steering rod onto the dimension (A).
Tightening torque: 51 Nm.
9. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the above notes.
10. Check and adjust the wheel alignment angles.
11. Perform steering wheel angle sensor correction.
