Lighting fixtures — general information (BMW X5 E53)

Lighting devices are divided into two large groups – external and internal.

External lighting – headlights, taillights, direction indicators, brake lights, reversing lights, front and rear fog lights, number plate lights.

Interior lighting – interior light, reading lights, sun visor mirror light, instrument cluster light, trunk light.

Incandescent lamps wear out over time and therefore it is recommended to change them every two years, except for halogen ones. Replacing lamps inside the cabin does not cause difficulties, since their fastening is standard and requires only turning off the corresponding switch.
