The windshield wiper arm must be replaced in the following order. Prepare the "61.6.060" device and remove the protective cover (1) from the nut (2) securing the arm (3.4) to the drive. Unscrew the nut (2) securing the arm to the drive.

Caution! Do not allow the windshield wiper arms to deform due to possible damage.


Using the device "61.6.060" (1, Fig. 16.29), disconnect the wiper arm (2). When replacing the wiper arm, it is necessary to remove the blade from it for further use.

When installing, it is necessary to adjust the position of the corresponding wiper arm to the extreme, lower position, while measuring the distance between the edge of the brush and the upper edge of the fairing shield (1 and 2, Fig. 16.30). Distance (1) should be 54±3 mm, distance (2) should be 55±3 mm. The installation angle of the right brush is 86.0°±1.0°, the left one is 85.5°±1.0°.

Tighten the lever mounting nut to a torque of 30 N·m (3.0 kgf·m), wait 15 minutes and recheck the tightening of the nut to a torque of 30 N·m (3.0 kgf·m).
