Location of fuses (BMW X5 E53)

Fuses provide protection for electrical circuits and power consumption elements from overloads (disabling). If any of the current consumers fails, it must be disconnected and the corresponding fuse must be checked.

Attention! It is strictly forbidden to install "bugs" and fuses of a different rating.

The fuses are located in the glove compartment of the passenger compartment (Fig. 1.72) and in the luggage compartment of the car (Fig. 1.73).





Fuses in the passenger compartment are located behind the rear wall of the glove compartment. If a newly installed fuse blows, check its current consumer. Fuses of consumers permanently connected to the "+" terminal of the battery are located in the luggage compartment. To access them, you need to grab the door handle on the right side panel from above and pull it down. The specification of BMW X5 E53 fuses indicating the rated current and protected consumers is located on the rear part of the side panel.
