Remove the soundproofing casing and cover (1, Fig. 6.142) filler neck of the engine with oil, if necessary remove the rubber cuff (2). Unlock and disconnect the SS (3) from the camshaft position sensor. Unscrew the bolt (4) securing the sensor and remove it.
When installing the sensor, lubricate the sealing ring (1, Fig. 6.143) a thin layer of Vaseline. Install the camshaft position sensor and tighten its mounting bolt to a tightening torque of 3.5 N·m (0.35 kgf·m).
