Replacement materials:

Transmission oil (ATF), for example:
  • Esso ATF Dexron D-21065

Transmission oil must be replaced every 80,000 km as part of maintenance. However, at each maintenance, it is necessary to visually check the tightness of the gearbox and check the oil level in it. The oil level should reach the lower edge of the oil filler hole.

Before changing the oil, the transmission should be warm to the touch, if necessary, drive for 15 minutes.

Raise and remove the car lower engine compartment cover.

Unscrew the filler plug -1- on the gearbox.

Place a suitable container under the gearbox to drain the oil and unscrew the drain plug "2" from the bottom of the gearbox.

Attention: collect transmission oil and hand it over to a special waste collection point; do not drink it or dispose of it with household waste.

Tighten the drain plug to a torque of 50 Nm.
