Attention! The clamps must be replaced.
Replacement of clamps (ear clips) the corrugated covers of the steering gear must be carried out in the following order. Prepare the device "32.1.260".
To remove the clamp, install the "32.1.260" tool perpendicular to its ear and cut it (fig. 12.56). The clamp-clamp can be installed not only longitudinally (axially), but also with the hook clamp open, radially.
Hook the hook clamp and squeeze the eye with the tool "32.1.260" (fig. 12.57). In hard-to-reach places, the side cutter of the "32.1.260" device can be used. After compression, the gap ("A", Fig. 12.58) should be no more than 1 mm.
