When fastening, the belt buckle should lock with a characteristic click (Fig. 1.49).

To remove the belt, simply press the red button, remove the clasp from the lock and, holding the belt tape, direct it into the retractor.
Attention! It is necessary to ensure that when putting on the belt, it fits smoothly and evenly to the body and is not twisted.
The seat belt must be adjusted in height by moving the regulator (Fig. 1.50) according to the height. The seat belt is locked:

- when pulling the belt tape with a jerk;
- during sudden braking or acceleration;
- when passing sharp turns;
- when the car rolls heavily. The seat belt tensioner ensures that the belt fits securely to the occupant's body during a collision and keeps the occupant securely in the seat. In a split second, the belt buckle is moved back by gas pressure, and the lap and diagonal belts are simultaneously tightened.
On the rear, middle passenger seat, the seat belt buckle has the inscription "CENTRE" and is intended exclusively for the seat belt of the passenger occupying the middle seat.
Warning! Only one person can be fastened with one seat belt. It is prohibited to transport children, even infants, on your lap. Pregnant women must also wear a seat belt.
