The glow plugs must be replaced in the following order. Prepare the "11.6.050" device, turn off the ignition, disconnect the "minus" wire from the battery and insulate it. Remove the intake manifold. Compress the locking pins of the glow plugs and disconnect the glow plugs from the glow plugs.
Using the device "11.6.050" (fig. 6.133), remove the glow plug (1).
Note: If necessary, drill the "11.6.050" fixture to a depth of approximately 20 mm using a 9.5 mm diameter twist drill.
Installation of glow plugs should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to replace the glow plug gasket and tighten it to a torque of 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m). Read and erase information from the fault memory of the DDE system ECU. Eliminate faults and check the functioning of the DDE system.
