While maintaining vehicle speed, tighten the handbrake handle one more locking groove and drive for about 400 m. Release the handbrake and allow it to cool. This braking procedure, regardless of whether the brake linings have been changed or not, is recommended to be repeated about once a quarter in order to remove any corrosion and wear products that may have formed in this way.
