When installing the cuff on a left-hand drive vehicle, coat the edges of the cuff with silicone grease, with the arrow marked "LHD" (2, Fig. 12.39) on the cuff should match the arrow (1) on the front shield.
When installing on a right-hand drive vehicle, the arrow with the inscription "RHD" (2) on the cuff must match the arrow (1) on the front shield. Tuck the new cuff into the front shield and insert the plastic ring (3) into the cuff.
The replacement of the lower section seal of the steering shaft in the auxiliary mechanism partition must be carried out in a similar order. In this case, fill the new seal with the arrow (1, Fig. 12.40) to the arrow in the auxiliary mechanism partition. Insert the plastic ring (2) into the cuff.
