Attention! When the oil filter housing is removed, part of the coolant from the liquid-oil heat exchanger enters the oil sump. Upon completion of work, drain the oil and fill with new oil!
Unscrew and tighten the filter cover only with a socket wrench with an interchangeable head.
The oil filter housing must be replaced in the following order. Remove the soundproof casing, remove the oil from the oil filter, drain the coolant and send them for recycling. Protect the generator from contamination.
Disconnect the hose (1, fig. 6.92) and disconnect the loop (2). Remove screws (3 and 4). Remove the oil filter housing together with the oil/water heat exchanger, if fitted.
Install the oil filter housing in reverse order, cleaning all sealing surfaces and replacing gaskets (7, 10; see fig. 6.11) on the oil filter housing.
Replace and lubricate o-rings with engine oil (4, 5).
Reassemble the engine, change the oil. Start the engine and let it idle until the oil pressure warning light goes off.
Switch off the engine, after 10 minutes check the oil level in the engine, restore it if necessary.
