Attention! When removing the oil filter housing, some of the coolant from the liquid-oil heat exchanger gets into the oil pan. Upon completion of the work, drain the oil and fill in new oil!
Unscrew and screw in the filter cover only using a socket wrench with a replaceable head.
The oil filter housing must be replaced in the following order. Remove the soundproof casing, remove oil from the oil filter, drain the coolant and send them for disposal. Protect the generator from contamination.
Disconnect the hose (1, Fig. 6.92) and disconnect the SS (2). Unscrew the screws (3 and 4). Remove the oil filter housing together with the liquid-oil heat exchanger, if installed.

The installation of the oil filter housing should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to clean all sealing surfaces and replace the sealing gaskets (7, 10; see Fig. 6.11) on the oil filter housing.

Replace and lubricate the sealing rings (4, 5) with engine oil.
Assemble the engine, change the oil. Start the engine and let it idle until the oil pressure indicator goes out.
Turn off the engine, check the engine oil level after 10 minutes, and restore it if necessary.
