Park the vehicle on a level surface, place the gearshift lever in neutral and apply the parking brake. Protect the generator from contamination.
Unscrew the cover (3, see fig. 6.11) full-flow oil filter and remove it upwards, let the oil drain from the filter. Disconnect loop (6) and remove the oil pressure sensor.
Install the tool in place of the oil pressure sensor «11.4.050» with sealing ring. To check with «DIS tester» assemble a test circuit from a fixture «13.6.054» with sealing ring (1, fig. 6.94) and fixtures «13.6.051» and connect to the DIS tester.
To check with a pressure gauge, assemble a test circuit from fixtures «13.6.063» and fixtures «13.6.061». Restore the oil level, start the engine and let it idle until the oil pressure indicator goes off.
Carry out an oil pressure test according to the instructions on the «DIS tester» and according to the pressure gauge. Disassemble the circuit diagram. Install the removed parts, while:
- replace and lubricate the O-rings with engine oil (2, 4, 5, see fig. 6.11) filter covers;
- tighten the filter cover to a torque of 33 Nm (3.3 kgf·m);
- oil pressure sensor (M12x1.5) install with a new O-ring and tighten to 27 Nm (2.7 kgf·m).
Start the engine, let it idle until the oil pressure indicator goes off. Stop the engine, wait about 5-10 minutes, and then check the oil level. If necessary, restore it.
