The oil pressure in the engine system is controlled from the car interior using information from the pressure and level sensors installed on the engine. The design includes a heat exchanger to reduce the oil temperature (9, Fig. 6.11) air type.
The oil is poured into the engine oil pan. A metal dipstick is provided to control the oil level when parked (18, Fig. 6.12). During movement, the oil level is monitored by its sensor (20), with the indication displayed on the instrument panel.
