Disconnect the shift cable from the automatic transmission.
Disconnect the plugs from the automatic transmission, for which press the wire fastener.
Unscrew the bolts and remove from the engine oil sump the mount for the oil lines leading to the automatic transmission oil cooler.
Release the mount (1) radiator oil lines from automatic transmission. Pull out the oil lines.
Attention: Oil will leak out, so put a container to collect it. Dirt must not get into the oil lines, so they must be plugged with plastic bags with rubber bands.
Pry off the hole cover from the side (1) on the engine crankcase. Loosen the three bolts of the torque converter one by one using the socket head. In this case, the bolts must not fall into the crankcase. To get the bolts into the hole, you need to turn the engine by the hexagon on the crankshaft pulley.
Support the automatic transmission with a padded floor jack on the underside of the vehicle. The automatic transmission can only be supported by the body, not the oil sump.
Loosen the bolts securing the automatic transmission to the engine. The position of the flange bolts is the same as for a manual transmission.
To prevent the torque converter from slipping out, install the clamping pliers on the body of the automatic transmission with the flat side of the clamp towards the converter and fasten them. If clamping pliers are not installed, then when removing the automatic transmission, pay attention to ensure that the converter does not slip off the automatic transmission. Pull the automatic transmission off the engine.
Unscrew the automatic transmission bolts with a TORX bolt socket.
Disconnect the automatic transmission from the flange and pull it back together with an assistant.
Installation
Turn the torque converter on the automatic transmission so that the holes on the bars are directed to the middle of the holes on the flywheel. Insert special tool (kernel) in plank.
When combining the engine and automatic transmission, you need to combine the three holes on the converter with the three holes on the drive plate (flywheel). Additional alignment is not possible and may cause damage.
Install the automatic transmission and carefully insert the rod into the hole on the drive plate. After installing and tightening the automatic transmission bolts, unscrew the rod forward from the hole.
Remove the pliers from the transmission housing and insert the three torque converter bolts into the transmission holes. Tighten the bolts to 45 Nm. When replacing, use only original bolts.
Remove dust plugs (covers) and install the oil lines on the automatic transmission with new seals, securing the holder.
Install the oil line mounts to the engine oil sump and secure with bolts/nuts.
Put the electrical plug on the automatic transmission - it should click into place.
Install the shift cable and adjust it.
Pour oil / fluid into the automatic transmission.
Install the cardan shaft.
Install the transverse beam of the automatic transmission on the bottom and tighten the bolts / nuts to a torque of 20 Nm. Remove the jack from under the automatic transmission.
Install the heat shield. Fit the anti-roll bar to the bars and tighten the new self-locking nuts to 60 Nm.
Install the bottom cover (mudguard) engine compartment.
Connect the negative cable to the battery.
