2. Lock the hood in its highest position. To do this, disconnect the damper from it, fully open the hood and secure it with bolts on the left and right (see illustration).
3. Remove the heat shields on the left and right side of the front axle beam.
4. Empty the cooling system (see chapter Vehicle settings and routine maintenance).
5. Remove manual transmission or AT.
6. Remove the radiator of the engine cooling system (see chapter Engine cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems).
7. Remove the air cleaner covers along with the MAF sensor (see chapter Power supply and exhaust systems).
8. Remove the full flow oil filter.
9. Disconnect the cooling system hose from the engine (above the generator).
10. Disconnect the cooling system hoses from the heater core.
11. Disconnect the hose from the rear of the engine cooling manifold.
12. Remove the heater valve block assembly from the holder (see paragraphs 3-5 of Section Removal and installation of the vibration damper and its hub).
13. Disconnect the engine wiring harness connector.
14. Disconnect a positive wire between a starter and the generator and remove a wire of the positive plug of the storage battery in an impellent compartment.
15. Remove exhaust manifolds (see Section Removal and installation of exhaust manifolds).
16. Remove drive belts (see Section Removal and installation of drive belts).
17. Remove a branch pipe of an obduv of the generator.
18. Remove the power steering pump (see chapter Suspension and steering).
19. Disconnect the A/C compressor from the support bracket and hang it on a wire to the side without disconnecting the pipelines.
20. Attach a lifting device to the engine lifting eyes.
21. Disconnect a wire of weight from the right support of the engine and turn out the top nuts of the left and right pillows of support of the engine.
22. Using a lifting device, remove the engine from the engine compartment.
Be careful not to damage components in the engine compartment while lifting the engine.
23. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of the dismantling of the components. Check the integrity of the support pads and replace them if necessary.
24. After installation, before starting the engine, check the levels of working fluids and correct them if necessary.
25. Start the engine and check for fuel and fluid leaks, and for abnormal noises and vibrations.
26. Let the engine idle, then turn it off and check fluid levels again.
