Removal and installation or replacing the oil pump (M47T2)
1. Remove the oil pan.

2. Loosen the oil pump mounting bolts and remove the oil pump.
Attention:
- Reinstallation of a removed oil pump is not permitted. It is always subject to replacement.
- The new oil pump rotor is partially varnished to simplify adjustment of the tooth backlash.

Note: The crankshaft and balance shaft must be aligned with each other.
3. Lock the engine crankshaft using tool 115180.

4. Lock the balance shaft assembly using tool 113340 or a rod (b=5mm).
Note:
- When installing, it is necessary to use new, degreased and oiled bolts.
- The threaded holes in the balance shaft assembly must also be degreased and lubricated with oil.

5. Install the new oil pump.
Note:
- Make sure that the varnished surfaces of the intermediate wheel (1) of the oil pump are in engagement with the drive wheel (3) of the crankshaft and the wheel (2) of the balance shaft assembly.
- To do this, both timing marks on the intermediate wheel (1) of the oil pump must simultaneously point in the direction of the drive wheel (3) of the crankshaft and in the direction of the wheel (2) of the balance shaft assembly.
- Tighten the bolts by hand until they fit snugly and then back them off one turn (so that the oil pump can be moved).

7. Press the oil pump simultaneously in the axial direction (dark arrow) and in the radial direction (light arrow) to the crankshaft drive wheel and to the balance shaft assembly wheel (See the picture).

8. Pre-tighten the bolts according to the numbers.
9. Finally tighten the bolts in the same sequence.
Tightening torque:
- M6: 14 Nm.
- M7: 25 Nm.
Attention:
- Bolts (1 and 4) have M6 threads.
- Bolts (2 and 3) have M7 thread.
10. After finishing, remove the locking pin.
