Remove the fan casing, fan and alternator drive belt. Try on the "11.8.183" device under the gearbox (Fig. 6.48).
Disconnect the clamp (1) securing the intake pipe from the gearbox, install the devices "11.8.183" and "11.8.182" by the bolts (2) under the gearbox. Adjust the position of the device "11.8.182" along the flywheel ring (3) (drive disk).
Remove the screws (1, see Fig. 6.5) fastenings of the torsional vibration damper and remove it.
When installing the damper, install new bolts (M10) for fastening the torsional vibration damper and tighten them crosswise in three steps:
- 1 step with a torque of 40.0 N·m (4.0 kgf·m);
- 2nd step: turn 60°;
- 3rd step, turn it another 60°.
