Caution! Replace the parking brake pads on both wheels at the same time.


Removal of the parking brake pads must be carried out in the following order. Prepare the device "34.4.000", remove the rear brake discs, mark the location of the tension springs, disconnect their ends from the pads (arrows, Fig. 11.38) and remove the springs. The installation of the parking brake shoes should be carried out in the reverse order, while ensuring that the adjusting screws are in the correct position (2, Fig. 11.41). The right wheel is shown in the picture, the left wheel looks the same, but in mirror image. Lubricate the threaded bushing (1) and the adjusting screw (2) with anti-corrosion grease such as "Molykote". Adjust the parking brake and run in new brake shoes as described above.
