- NBP does not replace the use of seat belts, but only complements them;
- The NBP cannot be repaired or disassembled;
- NBC requires optimal seat adjustment for a specific person;
- The NBP must be replaced 10 years after its date of manufacture;
- NBP are subject to mandatory disposal, since unused gas generators pose an increased danger to others;
- work on the NBP should begin with disconnecting the "-" terminal of the battery and the ECU-NPB control system and a time delay for discharging the capacitor in its control system (not less than 30 sec).
- do not expose the NBP to impact loads or falls. If it falls from a height of more than 50 cm, it must be replaced;
- do not leave the removed NBP unattended and store it with the opening part facing upwards;
- welding work on the body must be carried out only with the airbag switched off;
- do not expose the NBP to temperatures above +75°C, even for short periods of time;
- artificial activation of the airbag is carried out from a control panel located 10 m away from the vehicle.
