The pump shaft is driven by a poly-V-belt (multi-stream) belt simultaneously with the generator and the power steering pump from the engine crankshaft pulley. The fan is controlled by a viscous coupling. When removing the coolant pump, replace the sealing ring (24, 68x5).
The engines are equipped with a drive belt of the brand "Hutchinson", its model depends on the vehicle configuration. The required belt tension is provided automatically, when tightening the tension roller adjusting bolt with a torque of 0.8 kgf·m or by a hydraulic mechanism.
