Attention! Removal of the rear exhaust manifold with the neutralizer is possible only after removal of the front exhaust manifold with the neutralizer.
The engine exhaust manifold is made integral with the neutralizer (see fig. 3.29) and consists of two exhaust blocks, for 1–3 cylinders (1) and for 4–6 cylinders (10).

Replacement of both exhaust manifolds with neutralizers must be carried out in the following order. Fix the engine in the installation position and disconnect the "-" terminal from the storage battery (AB). Disconnect the front muffler of the exhaust system and remove the stiffening plate.
Remove the retaining clips (3 and 4 see Fig. 13.46) and rubber-metal hinges (2).

Disconnect the struts (7) from the stabilizer on both sides. Mark the plug connectors (PC) of the sensors, release the cable from the holders, disconnect the PC and remove the oxygen content sensors in the exhaust gas, removing them from the cable box. Remove the protective casing of the injectors.
Loosen the nuts, remove the front exhaust manifold with the neutralizer and remove the rear exhaust manifold with the neutralizer.
When installing, clean the sealing surfaces and replace the sealing gaskets (14, 17, see Fig. 3.29).
Apply copper-containing paste such as "CRC" to the threads of the studs, replace all flange nuts and tighten them to a torque of 20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m).
Start the engine and check the exhaust system for leaks by closing it with a cloth cap. Check the operation of the engine management system ("DME").
