Attention! Before replacing the air mass meter, read the information from the fault memory of the system ECU «DDE» and eliminate them.
Removing the air flow meter (IRS) must be done in the following order. Switch off the ignition. Remove fan shroud. Loosen screws and remove front acoustic cover.
Remove bolts (3, fig. 6.89) and pull the suction pipe (snorkel). Raise it up a little. Release the pipes from the top holder. Disconnect the hose from the air filter housing. Disconnect the pipes from the lower holder. Disconnect the hose and remove the suction pipe. Disconnect the AL from the IRV, unscrew the bolts and remove it.
Installation of the air flow meter should be carried out in the reverse order, while tightening the air flow meter mounting bolts to a torque of 4.5 Nm (0.45 kgf·m).
Lubricate the sealing lips (1, fig. 6.90) a thin layer of Vaseline and insert the O-rings (1) into the suction pipe.
Assemble the engine. Read information from the fault memory of the system ECU «DDE». Troubleshoot and erase information from the fault memory of the ECU system «DDE».
