Attention! Before replacing the air flow meter, read the information from the fault memory of the DDE system ECU and eliminate them.
The air flow meter (AFM) must be removed in the following order. Turn off the ignition. Remove the fan casing. Unscrew the screws and remove the front soundproof casing.
Remove the bolts (3, Fig. 6.89) and pull off the suction pipe (snorkel). Raise it slightly. Release the pipes from the upper holder. Disconnect the hose from the air filter housing. Disconnect the pipes from the lower holder. Disconnect the hose and remove the suction pipe. Disconnect the SHS from the IRV, unscrew the bolts and remove it.

The air flow meter should be installed in the reverse order, while the air flow meter mounting bolts must be tightened to a torque of 4.5 N·m (0.45 kgf·m).
Lubricate the working edges of the sealing rings (1, Fig. 6.90) a thin layer of Vaseline and insert the sealing rings (1) into the suction pipe.

Assemble the engine. Read information from the fault memory of the DDE system ECU. Eliminate faults and erase information from the fault memory of the DDE system ECU.
