Attention! All work on replacing the turbocharger must be carried out only on a cold engine. Install the boost air hoses dry and absolutely clean, without any traces of oil.
Remove the locking cap (1, Fig. 6.149) in the direction indicated by the light arrow. Remove the plugs (dark arrows) upward movement.

Remove the hollow bolt (4, Fig. 6.150), collect the leaked oil and send it for disposal. Disconnect the pipeline (2). Loosen the clamp (3) and disconnect the return pipeline. Unscrew the bolts (1) securing the TC flange to the cylinder block.

Remove the hollow bolt of the oil line (1, Fig. 6.151). Remove the TC, check its technical condition, replace it as a whole if necessary. Clean the sealing surfaces.

The TC installation should be carried out in the reverse order, while it is necessary to lubricate the threaded part of the TC mounting bolts with a thin layer of copper-containing paste such as "CRC" and replace the sealing gaskets.
Lay the oil line (1) parallel to the TC body. Tighten the bolts (M10) securing the TC flange crosswise and gradually, 1/2 turn each, with a final torque of 50 N·m (5.0 kgf·m). Replace the sealing rings of the hollow bolts and tighten them with a torque of 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m).
Damaged plugs (3 pcs., see fig. 6.149) are subject to replacement. Tighten the bolts securing the pipe and hose clamps to a torque of 6.0 N·m (0.6 kgf·m).
Assemble the engine, the location of the vacuum hoses is shown in Fig. 6.152.
