- when contaminated with coolant or oil;
- when belt slipping noise occurs due to its oiling or stretching (elongation);
- when cracks and brittleness form;
- in case of breakage of the frame and individual strands;
- when the side surfaces become frayed and worn.
Note: If the drive belt is to be used in the future, it is necessary to mark its direction of movement and reinstall it in the same direction.
The alternator drive belt must be replaced in the following order. Prepare the "11.3.340" device. Loosen the alternator drive belt tension by carefully and slowly pressing the drive belt tensioner to the stop using the "Torx" end galosh and fixing it using the "11.3.340" device (pin). Remove the drive belt.
When installing the belt, make sure that it fits tightly into the grooves (grooves) of the pulleys (Fig. 5.90).

After installing the belt, remove the device "11.3.340". The tension force is not adjusted by the roller, it will automatically set the required tension force of the generator drive belt. Check the correct position of the drive belt on the pulleys.
