Flushing the automatic transmission oil cooler with pipelines is necessary when installing a new or refurbished (spare) automatic transmission. The process of flushing the oil lines is carried out only with the automatic transmission removed.
Flushing of the automatic transmission oil cooler with pipelines must be carried out in the following order.
Prepare fixtures «17.2.011», «17.2.015», «17.2.016», «17.2.017», «17.2.018». «17.2.019», «17.2.021» and drain container.
Remove the automatic transmission, connect the appropriate fittings to the oil lines leaving the automatic transmission towards the oil cooler, according to the automatic transmission model (see below).
Connect the pressure pipe to the radiator with a quick coupling «17.2.019» from the oil supply to the radiator.
Connect the drain pipe with a quick coupling «17.2.018» from the radiator to the drain tank.
Using an oil dispenser, flush with gear oil (about 1 l) oil supply channels and oil cooler.
Reconnect pipelines and flush with gear oil (about 1 l) oil lines and oil cooler in the opposite direction.
Disconnect the quick couplers and remove the fittings.
