Remove the automatic transmission oil sump, pull the oil strainer (6, see fig. 9.42) down and out of the crankcase. If the sealing ring (10) left in the pump housing, it is necessary to remove it and replace the oil strainer.
When installed on vehicles with gasoline and diesel engines, different mesh oil filters for automatic transmissions are used, which differ in size «A» (pic. 9.43):
- gasoline engine 39.00±1.00mm;
- diesel engine 30.00±1.00 mm.
At the point (1) two new seals are installed. Replace the O-ring in the pump housing. Tighten the oil sump mounting bolts by hand, until they make contact, and then crosswise to a torque of 10 Nm (1.0 kgf·m), moving from the middle to the edges. At the end of the work, pour oil into the automatic transmission and check its level.
Replacing the mesh oil filter of automatic transmission type «A5S 440Z» And «GA6HP26Z» should be done in the same way. Value «A» not regulated for them.
