Clean the surfaces to be sealed using a hardwood scraper (oak, hornbeam, beech, etc.). Replace the filler and drain plug sealing rings. Install a new oil pan sealing gasket. Clean the magnet (3) from deposits and reinstall it in the oil pan. Install the oil pan and screw in all the bolts until their heads touch. Tighten all the bolts (M6) in sequence, one after the other, in a crisscross pattern to a torque of 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m), moving from the center to the edges. Do not overtighten the bolts.

Tighten the drain plug (M14x1.5) with a new gasket to 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m). Tighten the filler plug (M18x1.5) with a new gasket to 35 N·m (3.5 kgf·m) and check the oil level.

Automatic transmission "A5S 440Z"

The replacement of the oil pan of the automatic transmission "A5S 440Z" should be carried out in a similar order.

Tighten the oil drain plug (M16x1.5) with a new gasket to a torque of 30 N·m (3.0 kgf·m). Tighten the oil filler plug (M18x1.5) with a new gasket to a torque of 35 N·m (3.5 kgf·m) and check the oil level in the automatic transmission.

Automatic transmission "GA6HP26Z"

The replacement of the oil pan of the automatic transmission "GA6HP26Z" should be carried out in a similar order.

Tighten the oil drain plug (M12x1.5) with a new gasket to a torque of 25 N·m (2.5 kgf·m). Tighten the oil filler plug (M18x1.5) with a new gasket to a torque of 35 N·m (3.5 kgf·m), and tighten the filler plug M30x1.5 to a torque of 80 N·m (8.0 kgf·m). Check the oil level in the automatic transmission.
