Automatic transmission «A5S 390R»
Replacement of the automatic transmission oil sump «A5S 390R» must be done in the following order. Substitute the receiving vessel, unscrew the drain plug. Drain the oil from the automatic transmission and send it for recycling.
Loosen all screws (4, M6, fig. 9.41). Remove oil pan (1) automatic transmission and separate the sealing gasket (2) oil sump.
Clean the surfaces to be sealed using a hardwood scraper (oak, hornbeam, beech, etc.). Replace filler and drain plug o-rings. Install a new oil sump seal. clear magnet (3) from deposits and reinstall it in the oil sump. Install the oil sump and screw in all the bolts until their heads fit. Tighten all bolts (M6) in sequence one after the other, in cross order with a torque of 10 Nm (1.0 kgf·m), moving from the center to the edges. Do not overtighten bolts.
drain plug (M14x1.5) with a new gasket, tighten to 18 Nm (1.8 kgf·m). Filler plug (M18x1.5) with a new gasket, tighten to 35 Nm (3.5 kgf·m) and check the oil level.
Automatic transmission «A5S 440Z»
Replacement of the automatic transmission oil sump «A5S 440Z» should be done in the same way.
Oil drain plug (M16x1.5) with a new gasket, tighten to 30 Nm (3.0 kgf·m). Oil filler plug (M18x1.5) with a new gasket, tighten to 35 Nm (3.5 kgf·m) and check the oil level in the automatic transmission.
Automatic transmission «GA6HP26Z»
Replacement of the automatic transmission oil sump «GA6HP26Z» should be done in the same way.
Oil drain plug (M12x1.5) with a new gasket, tighten to 25 Nm (2.5 kgf·m). Oil filler plug (M18x1.5) with a new gasket, tighten to 35 Nm (3.5 kgf·m), and the filler plug M30x1.5 - with a torque of 80 N·m (8.0 kgf·m). Check the oil level in the automatic transmission.
