The rear bumper is designed in such a way that it can withstand a car impact at a speed of up to 4 km/h without damage. At a speed of 15 km/h, the energy is absorbed by the internal fiberglass beam (1, Fig. 18.12) and through two shock dampers (2) is transmitted to the body frame.
The beam and shock absorbers are covered with cladding (1, Fig. 18.13).
