The camshaft is rotated by opening the solenoid valve (EMC) and supplying oil to the actuator of the drive of one or another camshaft. This allows you to get the best time to open the valves in relation to idle, torque characteristics and fuel consumption. The ECM of the DME system controls the flow of oil to the actuator by turning on the EMC.
