Attention! Do not disassemble the shift bracket.
Do not turn the selector handle when removing it, otherwise the latch located in it will be cut off. Adjustment of the link arm of the shift mechanism of the system «Interlock» must be done in the following order. Set the automatic transmission control selector to position «R». Remove the selector lever with a strong upward movement. Take out the trim (1, fig. 9.84) with protective cover (2) from the center console. Disconnect the ALs and remove the trim.
Check the position of the automatic transmission control selector in position «R». Set the ignition key to position «0» and take out. Loosen the bolt (1, fig. 9.85), thrust (4) should be easy to walk in the bracket (3). Press the lever (2) systems «Interlock» down to the stop and tighten the bolt (1) torque 7.0 Nm (0.7 kgf·m).
Check system function «Interlock» in the following order:
- remove the ignition key or set it to the position «0», while the control selector should not go out of position «R»;
- move the ignition key to position «Ignition», press the brake pedal, the selector must be able to move to any of the following positions:
- set the control selector to all positions except «R», while in none of these positions the ignition key must be turned back to the position «0» and take out;
- set the control selector to position «R», while the ignition key must return (turn) back into position «0» and get out.
If necessary, re-adjust the draft of the system «Interlock».
To install the handle, you need to move the cover (1, see fig. 9.83) down so that the groove is completely exposed (2) on the selector. Place the handle on the control selector, align it and press firmly so that it clicks into place on the automatic transmission selector.
