1-3 - Air distribution levers
Smooth regulation of distribution of heated air.
- Lever to the left - closed;
- Lever to the right - fully open.
1 — the Lever of distribution of the air supplied on glasses
Air entering through the deflectors is directed to the windshield and front side windows.
2 — the Lever of distribution of the air given in the middle
The air supply is controlled by turning the vanes in the middle of the instrument panel in the front doors, as well as on the upper side of the instrument panel.
3 - Lever for distributing air supplied to the legs
Air enters through vents located at the front and rear of the footwell.
Rear ventilation
Ventilation of the rear of the passenger compartment can be carried out using the center console vents, regardless of the position of the lever on the instrument panel. Only fresh air enters through them, and when the air conditioner is on, it is cooled.
4, 6 - Rotary temperature switches for the left and right sides of the passenger compartment
The temperature control mode is switched on and off with the rotary switch on the driver's side. Left end position - no temperature or heating control.
Turning from a fixed position to the right - the temperature control mode is activated.
Right end position (fixed) - maximum interior heating, temperature control does not occur (this position can be used as an emergency switch in the event of a malfunction of the electronic temperature control system).
The scales indicate the approximate values of the set temperature in the cabin. The selected temperature is reached extremely quickly and, as a rule, should not be changed (automatic temperature control). To avoid unwanted temperature fluctuations, turn the switch gradually.
5 - Switch and rotary switch for the amount of air supplied
Position 0 - the system is off, the air supply is blocked.
Turn clockwise from the fixed position - the system is on, the minimum amount of air is supplied, the fan operates at minimum capacity.
Further rotation to the right - the amount of air supplied increases, the minimum fan performance.
Increased fan performance - stages 2-4.
For the correct functioning of the electronic temperature control system, the rotary switch must be set to the minimum position "12 hours".
For the most intensive heating of the windshield and side windows, use:
7 - Scheme for regulating the maximum blowing of glasses
The maximum effect is achieved when the engine is warm.
The fogging of the windows occurs due to the formation of condensate due to temperature differences or too high humidity. Elimination of condensate is carried out only by blowing glass with a large amount of warm air.
8 - AUC switch - Automatic air recirculation systems *
This system recognizes the maximum permissible pollution of the outside air with harmful substances and prevents them from entering the passenger compartment.
Pressing the switch again activates three functions:
- LEDs off - normal mode of fresh air intake;
- the LED on the left lights up - the sensor measures the proportion of harmful substances in the outdoor air; at elevated levels of harmful substances in the outside air, the fresh air dampers automatically close and the system operates in recirculation mode;
- the right LED lights up - the recirculation mode is on.
Air recirculation systems
The air recirculation mode is recommended for heavily polluted outside air - the interior air is recirculated in the cabin, which prevents the penetration of polluted outside. A burning control lamp signals the correct air recirculation mode.
Although in order to improve air quality (e.g. drying) the air conditioner is switched on automatically, the air recirculation mode should not be turned on for a long time.
If the windows in recirculation mode or in AUC mode fog up from the inside, switch to normal operation and press switch 9 of the air conditioner.
9 - Air conditioner switch
When the button is pressed, the air conditioner starts from approx. 1°C outdoor temperature. The control lamp signals the operation of the air conditioner. The air cools and becomes drier.
At very high humidity, it is recommended to dry the air by turning on the air conditioner in advance (until the evaporator is covered with condensate). Glasses in this case do not fog up. Wherein cooled The air must not be brought to the windshield, as it may fog up from the outside. At maximum cooling capacity, the system switches automatically to air recirculation mode (with little fresh air).
10 — the Switch of heating of back glass
Functioning is similar to that described in paragraph Rear window heating.
Comfortable driving conditions - thanks to the layered distribution of conditioned air: warm feet - cold head.
The temperature of the air supplied through the deflectors on the instrument panel and front doors can be changed by turning the roller 1:
- rotation to the right - warmer
- rotation to the left - colder
