- use only clean, lint-free cloth;
- remove traces of dust with a damp cloth or vacuum cleaner;
- prevent oils and cleaning agents from entering the brake system;
- thoroughly remove traces of cleaning agents and oils;
- brake pads should be replaced simultaneously on one axle;
- prevent contact of brake linings with oils and lubricants;
- brake pads should be installed with the movement reference (arrows) in the direction of rotation of the brake disc and in accordance with the sides of the car ("Links/ Rechts", "Left/Right");
- before installing new parts, thoroughly de-preserve them;
- all moving parts of the caliper must move easily;
- pipes and hoses must be laid in such a way as to prevent them from rubbing against the body or other elements;
- threaded connections of pipelines (fittings) should be loosened / tightened with special keys, with a torque of 17–19 N·m (1.7–1.9 kgf·m);
- open holes on parts, hoses and pipelines should be plugged:
- observe tightening torques for threaded connections;
- before dismantling pipeline lines, they must be marked;
- change brake fluid every two years;
- after completing the work, it is necessary to check the tightness of the brake system, bleed it and restore the brake fluid level.
