Attention! When removing the flange, the wheel hub bearing is damaged, the bearing must be replaced.
Before installing the wheel, it is necessary to check the fixation of the nut (4) with a collar.
Replacing the rear wheel hub bearing must be carried out in the following order. Prepare fixtures «33.2.115», «33.2.116», «33.2.118», «33.4.201», «33.4.202» And «33.4.203» and remove the wheel.
Loosen collar nut (4, see fig. 14.16), after depressing the brake pedal, and remove the brake disc. Install fixture «33.2.116» flange with wheel bolts (pic. 14.53).
Press out the flange using tools «33.4.201», «33.4.202» And «33.4.203». Remove bolts (3, see fig. 14.52) fasteners and remove the wheel bearing (supports) wheels. If necessary, remove the bearing inner race.
Before installing a new bearing, the mating plane (2, fig. 14.54) wheel bearing and wheel bearing support, as well as threaded holes (1) must be clean and free of grease. Install a new wheel bearing and tighten its fastening bolts to 100 Nm (10.0 kgf·m).
Lightly grease the flange (1, fig. 14.55), put it on the splines of the drive shaft and press the flange using tools «33.2.115», «33.2.116» And «33.2.118».
Replace nut (4, see fig. 14.52) collar and tighten to 420 Nm (42.0 kgf·m). lock nut (M27) with a shoulder, tapping on the flat surfaces of the wheel drive shaft.
Replacing the rear axle shaft flange should be carried out according to the wheel hub bearing replacement technology.
