Loosen the oil pan mounting bolts. Loosen cover screws (1, fig. 6.63) rear crankshaft seal. Remove bolt (2) and remove the sensor (3) position of the crankshaft in the direction of the arrow.
Remove the rear oil seal cover and carefully disengage the oil pan seal from the rear oil seal cover without damaging it. If necessary, remove the oil pan and replace the gasket.
Attention! The stuffing box must be stored on the support sleeve, the stuffing box stored without the support sleeve for more than six months is not subject to use.
Do not bend the working edge of the stuffing box and do not touch it with your hands. The rear oil seal cover is supplied with the oil seal.
When installing the oil seal cover on the crankshaft, a support sleeve can be used as a mounting tool (1, fig. 6.64).
Lubricate the seating surface of the crankshaft with engine oil. Install the crankshaft rear oil seal cover with the support sleeve (1) straight, without distortion. Insert and tighten all gland cover bolts. Check the correct position of the centering sleeves. Reassemble the engine and check it for leaks.
