Prepare tools "11.9.410" and "11.9.420" and remove the vibration damper hub. Set the levers (2) for pressing out the oil seal (1) horizontally and insert tool "11.9.410" (Fig. 5.71). Turn the lever (2) so that it grips the oil seal (1) from behind. Screw in the bolt (3) until the oil seal (1) is pressed out of the timing belt cover.

The seal (1) must be stored only on a special support sleeve. If it has been stored without a support sleeve for more than six months, it is prohibited to install it.
Caution! The working edge of the seal is very sensitive and must not be bent under any circumstances. Do not touch the working edge with your hands.
Separate the support sleeve from the seal (1) and fit the seal (1, Fig. 5.72) onto the timing belt cover. Using the "11.9.420" tool, rotate the central bolt (3) to install the front crankshaft oil seal flush into the timing belt cover.
