Remove the lower and upper parts of the oil pan. Remove the vibration damper and coolant pump. Remove the drive belt tensioner, vibration damper hub and flywheel.
Remove the rear cover that covers the cooling cavities of the cylinder block. Unscrew the bolts along the line of fastening of the lower cover (1) of the timing belt and remove it by moving it forward, towards you.
Using the device "23.1.040", remove the tube (1, Fig. 5.70) cooling system from the cutout (2) moving forward (arrow).

Clean the sealing surfaces from gasket residues. Replace the cooling system tube (1), sealing ring (3) and sealing gaskets (7, see Fig. 5.69).
Install the timing belt cover, screw in all the bolts and tighten them to a preliminary torque of 5.0 N·m (0.5 kgf·m).
Tighten the bolts in a staggered pattern to the following torque:
- M6 - 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m);
- M7 - 15 N·m (1.5 kgf·m);
- M8 - 22 Nm (2.2 kgf·m);
- M10 — 47 Nm (4.7 kgf·m).
After all the bolts are tightened, go over them again and tighten them to the torques specified above. Replace the front oil seal at the bottom of the timing belt cover.
