Changing the camber angle is always accompanied by a change in the positive toe-in of the wheels. In this regard, it is necessary to first adjust the camber.
Adjustment of the rear wheel alignment angles must be carried out in the following order. Prepare devices "32.3.151" and "32.3.152".
The head of the eccentric bolt must be between the stops. The camber angle adjustment must be carried out using the eccentric bolts of the swinging arms of the rear axle beam in the following order. Replace the nut (2, Fig. 12.12) eccentric bolt and tighten it to a preliminary torque of 5.0 N·m (0.5 kgf·m). By turning the bolt (1), set the camber angle to -10°50'+20'.
With the vehicle optimally loaded, tighten the new front nut of the rocker arm to a torque of 100 N·m (10.0 kgf·m), and the rear nut (2) of the eccentric bolt to a torque of 165 N·m (16.5 kgf·m).
The wheel alignment angle must be adjusted using the eccentric bolts of the rear axle beam guide arms in the following order.
Unscrew the nut (2, Fig. 12.13) using the "32.3.151" tool, if the nut is tight, use the "32.3.152" tool. Install the eccentric disk between the limiters and install a new nut, tightening it to a preliminary torque of 5.0 N·m (0.5 kgf·m).
Turn the bolt (1) to set the rear axle toe-in angle to 0°18'±10'. With the vehicle optimally loaded, tighten the new nut (2) of the rocker arm eccentric bolt to a torque of 59 N·m (5.9 kgf·m).
Adjustment of the rear wheel alignment angles must be carried out in the following order. Prepare devices "32.3.151" and "32.3.152".
Wheel alignment adjustment
Attention! If during the adjustment process the eccentric bolt nut had to be tightened more than 4 times, it must be replaced, as it has lost its ability to self-lock.
